Fell like a stone to a higher finish than the previous manager achieved ? This makes no sense whatsoever ! Their is however a factual basis to the widespread claims that Southampton have briged the gap that the once formidable Liverpool created.
Because Martinez has an extra year on Koeman and so fell even faster, below Southampton Every other team who was above Southampton last season was above them this season #goingnowhere
But if one team has a better first 11 and a better squad, what's the excuse for not finishing above another? Only other thing is the manager...
Manager new to the league, bedding in many new players to the team, best striker injured all season and coming from further behind might have contributed?
Manager new to the league, bedding in many new players to the team, best striker injured all season and coming from further behind might have contributed?
We were bedding in many new signings and best striker injured all season as well. So now excuses are out the way, if one team and squad is so much better than the other, why are they finishing behind? Coming from further behind means nothing if you have a better team and squad

Are Liverpool still making excuses despite having none? They lost one player. One. Any half decent side wouldnt dream of depending on just one player so much that losing them means a total and frankly hilarious collapse. Theres a good few sides who had many more issues than Liverpool and performed better given their standing. Liverpool were just an embarrassment to the game this season. As we were in 13/14.
Your "best striker" lost his legs in the 2013 2014 season The irony tho, you lot slate our signings, lets face it your own hardly shined, even Herrera's only had a few good games and been pretty much anonymous for most of the season. Di Maria for that price was the flop of the season, being the worst player on the pitch in a United and Yeovil game You slate us over balo, Failcao.. You slate us on a **** season, cos yours was so brilliant right, you should be thanking us for being exceptionally **** this year as it is the only reason you are not playing EL next season
Oh dear, you have quoted biscan there (understandable as he ****ed his quotes up ) See post 1387, I was talking about Southampton and referring to Jay Rod
You finished 6th. Spurs were 5th. If your peculiar understanding of the league system is to be given any credence then we should be thanking Spurs.
