Weekend reports suggested that the 35-year-old is preparing to hang up his boots after his departure from QPR. However it's understood that the player was perplexed by the reports and has told friends that he intends to remain in the game. Dunne was interested in staying on at relegated QPR but they are cutting the wage bill and were unprepared to match his terms.
