Maybe Derby dreamed harder than us and it became a reality. I've spent my whole life dreaming and where has it got me?
Clement described joining Derby as "incredibly exciting" and is looking forward to working at a "massive club". I must say that after making such a comment, he has dropped down the pecking order in my estimations. You can't have two massive clubs in the Championship, surely it's not big enough for both Derby AND Leeds.
That's Arry style wages in the world's best paid and he's got less experience than Ramsey. I reckon his appreciation of Derby may well have been bought. And to think we bemoan mercenary players... better off without.
Big call to sack Mclaren, a lot of pressure on Clement especially if he loses a few at home. Derby have a lot of good players and their fans' patience is wearing thin.
Derby have an established, experienced Champ side. It's a great move for him but he is as unproven as Ramsey. Completely different being a No.1 in the Champ than being assistant at an elite club.
This, FFS 3 million a year, that's a huge financial gamble on an unproven coach despite all the good stuff I read about him. I would like him to succeed and then come to us!
