I don't see any correlation between thinking women's football isn't a very good spectacle and a woman officiating at a football match, they're two completely different things. The woman lino has always seemed to do a decent job to me, but I found the last Women's World Cup to be really poor quality football, laughably poor in parts. I'm sure it will improve as the women's game grows, but at the moment it really isn't very good.

I'm also not sure it's very accurate to claim that all the ladies are lovely people, this woman seems to think football and boxing are the same sport...

And here's a nice straight red tackle in the Womens World Cup...

I agree, the goalkeeping especially is ridiculously poor.

Simply being female in some people's eyes excludes them from the very notion that they should be participating in any shape or form in a predominately male domain. As for the quality of the womens games, lets remind outselves that of the many matches we see both back in the BP era and the current era there are a hell of a lot of games where the quality of the the football, from so called full time professionals at that, leaves a lot to be desired. In fact its been a constant refrain on the City threads about how much effort or lack of it has been evident, how much we lack any footballing instinct in going forward, what the girls lack in quality play they make up for in endevour, we lack both.

True my daughters played for 7 years and some off the football I've seen has been excellent
