apparently we are lining up a 1mill bid for him. a guy told me he read it in the SLP hope its true as we are not forced to take a chance buying someone that hasn't played here before and with punch we know what we are getting !

Apparently Blackpool are making a £500k bid too. That will delight Southampton who of course will want a bidding war. Lets just hope we can agree personal terms with him if the bid is accepted and that blackpool dont entice him with silly money. He hasn't hid his desire to return back to London so fingers crossed!
What i want to know is if we pay southampton say 850k, are we still going all out for a striker for around the same price??
Never understand the way bidding wars work. Surely if a club offers another club 500k and then so does another the only bidding war would be on the players wages as the club have already accepted the 500k transfer fee.
would be difficult to justify buying anyone else if punch comes....the squad is beginning to look well rounded with good cover for most positions
Would be disappointed if we didn't, I see that making the difference between challenging for playoffs or settling for mid table. We got £2.8m for Moro so should have funds available for 1 more, would depend a lot on whether henderson was a free or £1m, anyone know which as it's a massive difference
although he is talented he is quite inconsistent, and can be quite lazy. not to mention he is a big ego, if you drop him or put him on the bench he will throw a hissy fit, when adkins (our manager) named him on the bench he refused to travel with the team to the game. i think that was just before we sent him out on loan to you. He couldn't handle a 17 year old taking his place in the team.
