Newcastle 4:20 - Robins Pearl 5/2 Newmarket 5:15 - Robin Park 3/1 Tipped them both on here last week when they won and think they will both go in again. Both racing under a penalty, Robins Pearl looks to have an easier task and 5/2 looks decent. Robin Park is upped in class though and in a bit of a tricky race, 3/1 looks a bit stingy but still going to stick with it.
Bit of a long shot this one but if holding its **** together could sneak a place at a huge price: 9:00 Stratford - Maxdelas 50/1 ew
Looking forward to seeing the return of Treve, she should blow these away but at 4/7 I am happy to watch as we all know she only has one race in mind this year
Stick, me old love, I see that Modus went for 190,000 gns yesterday. Will now be trained by Mr Nicholls.
Hello, all. Hope everyone tickety-boo. There is a rumour sweeping the periphery, this morn, that we’ve got cod and chipped potatoes for lunch. I’ve everything, and I do mean everything, crossed. Quite like KING OF THE PICTS ‘ooooooooooooooooooooop’ at Newcastle today (3.45) – incidentally do the Geordies watch racing topless like they do with the old football?!? A very useful hurdler (Graded winner and rated in the 140’s at his best) you get the impression he could win this by half the track if on his A-game. However, to counterbalance this today is only his second run on the Flat for 2 and a half years and the 6YO can throw in a shocker every now and again. However, I think 9/1 a more than fair price all things considered. Am beginning to focus more though on tomorrow’s Cup Final and hopefully the glorious recrowning of The Arsenal. And for 90 minutes I’ll, for once, be on the opposite side of the fence to that most famous of Villains, Mr Cameron. Good luck, all.
2.20 Saint Cloud WE ARE 4/1 Strangely shorter in the exchange than the sportsbook but this horse will be fitter for the run on recent return in very soft conditions and Treve will be brought along very gently one would think, with a view to peaking at the Arc.
MAOI CHINN TIRE has won fto for the last 3 years and with Richard Hughes on board could make it number 4. At 8/1 can go e/w in the 4.45 Newmarket. In the 3.45 Newcastle SMP likes to target these races and with a run under his belt I think DEAUVILLE DANCER can resume where he left off last season. Was expecting a better price but only 5/2.
Well done Blue and followed you in. Must admit had Hamilton not got boxed in Akeed Champion would have won.
Cameron will not be there. He supports West Ham every week at The Hawthorns. Will the Duke Of Cambridge be there to show his son something that he can cry about and everyone will understand? Last year I backed the Gooners at half-time when they were losing to the useless Hull City but it turned out to be a losing bet as they needed extra time to actually lift the trophy. There are two possibilities for this year: (1) Villa will prove as obstinate as the Tigers and make a game of it. Everybody actually wanted Liverpool to be in the Final so that they could see Gerrard packed off to LA as a loser and his career would be remembered for one night in Istanbul and all those League titles. (2) Villa will play like they did at Southampton the other week and the BBC graphics department will be struggling to fit all the goalscorers’ names on the caption at the bottom of the screen. When the likes of Benteke have left the sinking Villa ship, Sherwood will be struggling in another relegation battle next season.
Disappointing effort from Robins Pearl at Newcastle, but I see that theoretical handicap good thing Robin Park can be backed at 5/1, 9/2 and 4/1 quite readily, perhaps because she faces her elders. Just as well there was not a third ‘robin’ running today or we would have done a Round Robin...
Disappointing indeed from Robins Pearl, of the two I thought that one was the most likely winner, seemed like a much easier race than the one last week. But Robin Park does the business, won it like a good thing.
Cheers Fabio that was the easiest money I'll win all summer. I'll try to return the favour Catterick 8.10 rozene Cheers
8.25. BANANA FLAMBE. 5-1. Couple of reasons why I think this might win tonight. Firstly Ruby hanging around for two and a half hours after his only other ride for this. And I've eaten two bananas today. Win bet.
Crown theatre is running off a lovely mark of hurdles in the 6.50 @Tramore-5/2 looks a nice price, im on & small wager on halls bridge in the following race at 5s
Well what are the chances, of all the races tonight I actually have one picked out for that 8:10 race. I'll probably still stick something on Rozene though. Haydock 7:15 - Manchestar 5/1 Catterick 8:10 - Windforpower 4/1
