Were Liverpool playing tennis today? <laugh>

**** knows, it wasnt football. Had it been tennis there always would have been the next set to make up for 6-1 ffs

Nowhere near good enough. Stoke away is always difficult but come on. Stoke deserved it just like Palace last week

BR's gone, I think

Gerrard and history holding Rodgers back. Club needs to look forward and stop obsessing about past

You think Rodgers can work out and be successful for us? Honestly?

I dont think he has the confidence of the players, with how we've looked im suprised we have finished 6th which shows how poor the leaguehas been. No belief, no aggression and lack of fight. Losing is fine as long as you fight and we simply dont

Haven't seen enough of Liverpool to know. But history and the wait for league is a huge burden on any manager.

It would take a Mourinho like manager to instill that winning culture in the ckub again. Conte??

Not really, start with the basics of winning games and go from there

He hasnt lost on purpose obviously but somethings wrong

He cant put fire in the belly when it matters imo

Like Chelsea, Liverpool are now making history and not reliving it. Liverpool certainly haven't lost 6-1 to Stoke before. :emoticon-0103-cool:

Brendan Rogers is certainly no Bill Shankley or Bob Paisley. The problem is that the expectations are far too great at your club. I remember in 1979 when you finished top and we finished bottom of Div 1 - now look where we are....and you finishing 6th without Suarez and Sturridge isn't too bad a finish for you.

Agree. Fourth or fifth is Liverpool's level these days.

13/14 was a freak season playing part time.

They should be happy be fifth and a couple of cup semis and accept that is about their level now

Liverpool may have a knee jerk reaction after the 6-1 loss at Stoke and sack Brendan Rogers. I doubt if any new manager will be able to better a 6th place finish in the short term.
