Soul is overrated bro
I sold mine when I was 19. For 4 pints and a spliff. Best deal I've ever done, never missed it, and I think I lost a bit of weight as well. Think it ended up with Taiwo, he really did have a surfeit of SOUL. Didn't do him any good though, just had his contract terminated with Bursaspor in Turkey. Which means he is available.......

Some of the rubbish on this thread defies logic. It's fair to say QPR this season have been one of the poorest ever PL teams. Disjointed, no pace, lacking quality, couldn't defend to save their lives and plenty will go this summer. We'll be left with dregs. We have very little quality coming through the youth. To build a promotion challenging squad from this mess would tax the best of managers let alone a rookie with no Championship experience. Add to that FFP, a possible transfer embargo and all the sh*t that will come with that and the demand is promotion?

Alan f*cking Curbishley? You must be on the poteen Swords.

We're stuck with Ramsey for the simple reason he'll accept whatever pisspot budget TF throws him, no big name manager would work without a big transfer fund and we've all agreed we can't keep throwing money at it. Accept mid-table as successful and take it from there otherwise it'll be the same old same old...

Absolutely spot-on, agree 100%

Let's hope the Owners and Management have got a bit more spunk about them, when they are setting targets.

Reading this forum these days reminds me of wandering round Speakers Corner on a Sunday afternoon about 50 years ago, when half the placards were reading various versions of We're doomed, We're doomed. Still so long ago I've probably forgotten, and they all read R's to win a Cup soon.

I agree Oslo too many doom and gloom merchants on here.
I don't care that we have gone and losing loads of players, if the club aren't aiming high i will be furious.
CR has been given a job and if he cannot succeed then TF has a lot to answer for and this time i don't think the TF fans will be so supportive.

Reactions: QPR Oslo
Why should play offs be the minimum target? The only way to do that with the player turnover we have is to buy a bunch of other old gits to grind it out and repeat all the same mistakes. McClaren, Allardyce...all the same old names. Despite his decent season last year, McLaren is a serial failure, more bad/underachieving years than good ones. Fat Sam? Do me a favour.

Be patient.
Exactly. Some on here never learn. If, finally, Fernandes is prepared to give it time and let it grow so should we. Fed up with the hype, the expectation and the hysteria that we have to do it (whatever 'it' happens to be from year to year) and we have to do it now. Let's build a team for several years, not buy a new one each year.

I predict you will be furious well before Christmas...
