I'm re-thinking the dungeon, I get the impression you'd all enjoy being down there and wouldnt see it as a punishment ..... guess its back to the drawing board !!!

    Bueno Dias Mexijan,

Wadegate - love it, yup things get a little 'warm' on the Stoke board, luckily there are no really horrible types like infest your board.

All good clean fun, basically there are 2 tribes on board in terms of pro and anti Pulis, most of us oldies are anti, most of the young ones are pro.

So yes it does get rather animated at times, certainly is if I have anything to do with it.

Oh Sensible - sorry, I've done the Owen Hargreaves bit on the Stoke board, plus, Jack Charlton, Michael Owen, Sir Stan etc etc.

Dungeons eh? How about Dungeons and Dragons sounds a good idea, we have the dungeon any nomination for the Dragons <whistle><whistle>

I go off here early and now find out I have multiple squatters in my dungeon. Not afraid of spiders and I will look after the barmaid by myself thank you all very much.

I was talking to a lady of advancing years at the Nursing Home today. She saw my Argyle badge on my coat and mentioned it. Turned out her husband, who was the patient, had played for Argyle back in the 50s with Jack Chisholme. That is before my time. The surname is McShane and I have tried to look him up without much success. Anyone out there of an age where they remember him. I was curious.

Thanks mexijan. He is in Down House Nursing Home now and not a well man. I didn't go into detail as to his problems as I didn't feel it was right. I wonder if anyone at Argyle even know about him now.

Sensible i doubt they will care at Argyle now, i am only doing the plumbing in the dungeon and cleaning the barmaids pipes for her while i was there, makes sense to do both jobs while i was visiting. Hope all is well with you

This site keeps crashing out tonight. Thanks joe everything is fine.

Having got a full name I have done a bit of trawling and see he was Manager at Scunthorpe and Chesterfield after his playing career. It still amazes me where you come across people with a story to tell in the most unlikely places. I might just see if I can pop in for a chat with him if he is well enough for that.
