Cristian Battocchio's team are playing their final match of the season right now. In the hope of avoiding relegation, they are playing him up front...
Judging by this - they're not playing anything....

Having a read on Wikipedia it would seem that a win would have saved Entella. Apparently they now have to play a play-off over two legs against Modena the 5th bottom placed side. If the aggregate scores are level then Entella, as the lower placed side after the regular season (on goal difference), will be relegated.

And we thought Granada's situation was complex.

I wonder if we'd ever get relegation/promotion play-offs in this country (used to I think?)

Or would it just be voted out by the Premier league clubs...

Personally I think that a play-off should be over two legs between the highest non auto-promo team and the lowest non-auto relegated sides from the two respective divisions. That's it.

If there's to be a play off at all? I know we've benefitted in the past but personally I don't really agree with them in principal... ££,£££,£££'s disagree.

I agree play-offs are not fair BUT its got nothing to do with being fair its all about $$$ i mean pounds lol and yes if they included the highest non-auto relegated team would make it fairer but it would make less money.

Certainly wouldn't want a play-off system that is the same as the one for the SPL/Scottish Championship as that seems to have dragged on, although I have seen suggestions in previous years of something similar, but with one-off games. Using the Championship this year as an example, the first match would've been Brentford v Ipswich, the winners travelling to Middlesbrough, and the winners of that game facing Norwich at Wembley.

he is reported as saying "if the owners want him to go he will go " Is he saying he will go without a big payoff ? Now that a man with real integrity
As this is the man who said he was not leaving Watford and Swansea or signing Mario Balotelli I fully expect him to challenge a dismissal in the European Court of Human Rights...

Im not a fan of big sam but almost always starts with "you can never say never but "
I really like the guy - never apologises for the way his team's play but invariably delivers. I also think he's one of the more gracious "heart on sleeve" type managers. That said, under current circumstances, he's not our man in my opinion.
