Well if he is half as good as he thinks he is, then in 2-3 years time, he might be leaving for £50m and be able to command 150k per week + is what I mean.
Right now, he is £20-30m max and 70k per week in my opinion.

There's no way the Shermans at Anfield would even consider selling him to you, there'd be hell on.

Well they'll have to wait a year or so to cash in. Only United are throwing round stupid money atm

They can't wait beyond this summer, as he's only got 2 years left on his contract.

But they won't sell to United, in fact they'll almost certainly want to sell him abroad, but I doubt the big European powerhouses will be queuing up for him. Albeit there's a rumour Bayern are interested.

He's nowhere near good enough for Bayern technically.

He could sign a contract extension and have an agreement to leave next summer when clubs start spending the new Sky cash (before they've banked it)

Watford will be paying 100k a week when the new Sky deal comes in

United need to do good business this summer while they are extra-advantaged. Their advantage will be less from next year, they've already messed up three transfer windows, they can't mess up this one

50 million does seem steep, but the transfer market has gone crazy, and with so many clubs rumoured to be after him it wouldn't suprise me if his price got that high. Probably a good deal for Liverpool, so long as Rogers doesn't go and buy the current flavour of the month from Southampton with the money :biggrin:

Thats bullshit though, wouldn't surprise me if his agent has leaked fake interest in order to fool someone into entering a non existent bidding war.
Has anyone ACTUALLY expressed any interest or is it just paper talk?

Its not bullshit, that's why I said roumered to be after him. Who knows who's after him but I fancy a few of the half dozen linked are.

Sterling wouldn't be behaving like he is, if he didn't know other clubs where interested :biggrin:
