I'm suspicious of the time it is taking. I bet he hasn't said no to us...but that's a hell of a long way from saying yes. Smacks of Pochettino last season. We took the absence of 'no' as a 'yes.'

Well, they actually might not be that adamant. You know how the tabloids are, always linking managers with their ex-players.
Mentioned on Sky that Chelsea may be interested in signing Walcott and Chamberlain from Arsenal. Truth....who knows, but Chamberlain move could be of interest to us because of the sell on clause. There were rumours it was as high as 40% (doubt it, though). A sell on clause as high as that would effectively block almost any move.
Am I the only one who would really like Victor to get a new contract this summer? 2 years left I believe? If he improves again like he has since being here clubs will certainly be interested n if he's only got a year left by that point we won't have any power or be able to command a fee we want.
It's obvious you are the only one that thinks that way, we want him to go to a big Club for lots of lovely money, you can get new brick outhouses anywhere.
