I am curious how you think you will do vs Boro in the final?

I am going to predict a 2-1 canary win.

Also, is Carra always hard work or does he just choose to have a fit with Ipswich fans?

Thanks Westlake33 and I'm hoping we are victorious too, but we need a better performance from Rusty and co in defence.
Carra is quite unique and occasionally I agree with him, but at other times .......

Fit or fight, I thought you learned everything to do with English when you were 14?

Oh, I see it was a typing error.

Stop taunting the Binners Carrabuh <laugh>

They love to dish it out, but they've never been able to take it on the chin - you'll give them heart attacks.

Besides, it's like shooting fish in a barrel

I hope you are right but, personally, I fear the worst. I have had more than my fair share of disputes with Carra over the years and sometimes it has turned a bit nasty but to be fair to the bloke he does talk a hell of a lot of sense about how the game should be played and, like me, he sometimes finds himself a minority of one but stands his ground on what he believes to be correct. If he goes off on a tangent - well, that's another matter!! On an overall basis - no, he's not hard work.

Carrubah will defend the indefensible and will never admit to being wrong and that is something that I find to be incredibly tedious and arrogant. I don't mind people being in a monority of 1 and defending their corner, but not on seemingly every issue, that is beyond reason and logic.
The final is one that I cannot call and could go in any way. We have played better over the season by virtue of finishing 3rd as opposed to 4th, but against that, they did do the double over us which may give them a psychological plus on the day. Their away form is not so good (and the final is technically an away game) but it is an occasion and very much a one-off and so all of the earlier comments have to be viewed as irrelevant.
I suppose for me a lot of the feeling will be whether we actually want to go up and this is something that has been debated many a time on various threads. The obvious plus is to get back to what may be viwed as our rightful place but in terms of enjoyment over the season as a whole, one can argue that this year has been more fun than the previous couple where every point became a prisoner. I will be wanting us to win on Monday because I want us to win every game, but perhaps will not shed too many tears if it all goes South.

I'd quite like to hear some some more of these undefendable ideas of mine Thurnby. Anything in particular?

Your use of the word "undefendable" for starters...

I am not at all optimistic, in fact I fear another defeat at the hands of the Smoggies.
Should we go on to win, I will then become pessimistic about our chances in the PL again.

This is what supporting City for over 40 years has done to me - I don't have the same kind of faith in the team I had say 20 years ago.

Yep that is me all over Thai. It is called being a Norwich City fan in my opinion. I expect nothing, often end up underwhelmed even on that low threshold, but wouldn't change a thing and have loved every minute of it. Logically, it makes no sense at all. Nurse!

After 65 years attendance at Carrow Road I realise that the best bet is to expect absolutely nothing and by doing that you end up only slightly disappointed when it is not achieved.

Well if you want some more reasons not to expect anything, we've only beat Middlesbrough once in the last 12 attempts and a Norwich player has never scored at Wembley in the 3 previous times we've played there!

    Does that help?

I was brought up by my Dad to never expect anything with regards to watching Norwich. It has held me in good stead over the last 30 odd years.

I have been disappointed and elated, but that was only through hope, never expectation.
