I don't mind at all mate. The deal we have with Squire is amazing because the trainer runs it himself. Ten of us pay £150 per month. Most syndicates are about twice that, Present Trend cost me that per month for a 1/20th share!

Got a nice little grey Dubawi to syndicate in a couple of months time ;-)

I got a tip for an Irish flat race the other day, posted it on here, an e/w bet and it was placed at 16/1. I've now been given another one for Dundalk tonight, So I'll stress that this is not my own tip but will post it for anyone fancying a dabble at it since the last one I got turned out good.

Lonan E/W 8:40 Dundalk. I was told it was 12/1 but that price must be gone now, can only see 8/1 at best now.

Hard to fathom why CURRENT EVENT is odds against in the Hunter Chase, head and shoulders above these!

    Cheers Stick <ok>

It's easy to pick out the odd winner here and there, the real challenge is doing it to a consistent level which so many do on here. The strike rate for this forum must be pretty good.

There used to be alot more syndicates here in ireland (mainly from property holdings) but when the economy went balls up from 2008 they all started pulling out.i know a few lads who have chatted about setting one up but dont think the missus would be to happy just yet with the idea!Must be great to see how squire has progressed from when you first saw him to his cracking run at newmarket!

If I was a layer I should probably be laying my Raydari bet off perhaps...Smashed up. Let's hope he obliges now.

I'm having a bad case of 'seconditus' of late so have been backing each way.A few I have been putting up is for trainer Pat Martin as I have a contact at the yard.He keeps hitting the bar but his horses are running well and will surely have a few winners soon, only prob is my source is going away on his honeymoon for a month.Hope stable isnt in rank form when he gets back as I doubt his missus will like him txting tips from a beach in Barbados!

Unlucky there, thought Raydari was coming through to win it.

The one I got given, Lonan, didn't really finish off the race all too well, thought he was coming with a run up the outside but didn't happen.

76 is about fair stick, what's the plans now? The front to pulled a little clear so I'd be all over the 2nd next time out. My worry with Squire now is the capper might have him about right and therefore I can see him running plenty of decent races without winning and the capper putting him up a few lbs more

We still believe there is a lot more to come CH. His home work suggests we are still to see him anywhere near reach his full potential.
We have a couple of options now. I think we will either be back to Windsor for a 0-85 or maybe really test him in a class 3 race at Newmarket. We are eyeing up some fancy races later in the season and soon we will need to test him properly on turf.
Havlin says if he didnt keep idling in front he would be winning far more cosily.

That's good to hear, a nice big handicapp at a course with a long straight and you could be on to a winner. Up in class sounds the right way to go especially if he idles as he won't be able to against better horses and it will hopefully help. Also the stronger pace in a better race should help him settle
