McMenemy saying that he's not worried about Koeman being linked with other jobs as that shows he is successful. He is sure he will stay for his contract....as shown by his previous behaviour at other clubs...but I doubt he will stay longer. We've had good managers under the Leihberr dynasty, but I will miss Ron...though I strangely don't have the emotional attachment that I had to Adkins perhaps due to those promotions. Let's enjoy the next 2 yrs.

Although many people (including me) don't like him, Pardew was a great manager for us in league one. Then we traded up. And then again. And then again.
My point being, I have absolute confidence that our Les has some top notch names on his secret list, it will be fun.
Has been mentioned before and again by Adkins...there is a list of prospective managers in Les Reed's drawer. Ron joked that he hasn't been allowed to see it. The more successful we are, the easier it will be to attract such managers. I worried when Pardew left, I worried when Adkins left, I worried when Pochettino left, so perhaps I should be blasé when Ron leaves

Yeah that was a tad ambitious, I like that we are ambitious with signings though.
Worth trying...get in first before anyone knows a player is available. Van Gaal said the same thing...knew he would have to get in early for Depay....probably knew he had no chance if the mighty Saints put in a bid.
Nah I know more just a figure of speech, just saying I reckon he will do well there. 10+ league goals next year.
