What type of shoes do you mostly wear? Or are you a nelipot?

Airwalk all the way for me, but I'm in the mood for some retail therapy and need something for an upcoming walking holiday.

I once threw a new pair in the bin because I trod in a dog-egg as soon as I left the house.

    Cool thread, eh?

Converse. If I need to put proper shoes on, I have a pair of Italian Leather ones, but rarely wear them as they are quite expensive.

I'm a casual kind of guy. Usually always wear jeans and a t-shirt. Hate tracksuits and hoodies with passion!

Bit of a sneaker freak myself, easily owning between 30-50 pairs.

    Nike (collabs)
    Filling pieces
    Converse
    Marc Jacobs

They're my go to. Formal wear, I have a friend at Boss so take advantage of his 50% discount.

I approve of this thread, massively.

I've never heard of half of these brands.

    30-50 pairs is borderline insanity.

Back in the day, I used to wear Champions (turquoise suede), Kickers, BKs, and Nike Air Max.

I do like a Reebok Classic, though. And the odd pair of Fila.

    Filling pieces. <laugh>

Can't laugh at filling pieces, PEA. Lovely craftsmanship for a trainer. Met the designer at a convention (I did say I was a sneaker freak) and he was an absolute hero.

Seems like this is a relatively middle-class board. No wonder I like it here.

I often sit and reflect at just how far I've come since leaving that dreaded Thamesmead estate.

I find the confines of my Gothic folly to be a place of grounding and pragmatism.

Nothing wrong with a good convention. I'm going to stop posting on this thread before I open myself up to more ridicule :(

I'm only joking with you, SuperC. Laughter is good for the SOLE, eh?

Anyway, I'm always up for a good convention - as long as they're not too straight-LACED.

Sex is overrated anyway. It only seems good when you're not getting some piece of hot arse. But then you remember all the **** that came attached with it and think bugger it, "another whiskey!"

Same. I do take my sandals off to go to bed though, in the interests of hygiene.
