Cheers wildcats ... the market is 'speaking' down to 2/1Rockley Point 3:05 New.
Been working like a dream at home destroying an 85 rated stablemate.
Trainer thinks this could be the best he's ever trained.
Was hoping for a bigger field and therefore price but there extremely hopeful this one will turn out to be very very nice.
Morning, you types. Another good days racing at York.
In the card commencer (2.10) I like Mark Johnston’s DELIZIA. Her trainer knows what to do when he gets a decent 2YO filly and this one certainly looked that on debut at Wolverhampton last month. Quickened very nicely and looks a decent sort. In the Yorkshire Cup it pains me to say this but I think the horrendous ‘little’ Michael Owen will take home the 1st place prizemoney with BROWN PANTHER (3.15). His Group 1 penalty means he has to give weight away but I think he is a much better horse than his rivals whom some may think are better than they actually are just because they placed in some decent heats last year. Finally, in the very good 3YO fillies Listed event (3.45) I’ll go with SPERRY. Won a conditions heat at Ascot very nicely last time and she can take this en route to a return to Berkshire for the Coronation Stakes next month.
Like these but they don’t compare to the bet of the year tomorrow. The ‘group horse in a handicap’.
Good luck all.
Christ! mwildcats where have you been?
Good to know you are still around and good luck.
Think it was me and Oddy, the horse takes an awful pull and never finishes his races unfortunately
At the prices though hes worth an EW dabble and doubled up with Harristown![]()

Thanks for all the good luck messages.
Yard in very good form at the moment and Harry needed the run last time. Charlie struggles to get the weight off him but he is leaner than his last run so we are expecting him to run well. Be interesting to see how the ground is its been watered so hopefully not false ground. He goes on most ground so nothing to be too concerned about. Horse in behind him at Ludlow has come out and won nicely. Expect it will be run at a decent clip so hopefully is a decent stamina test.

Gone for Delizia 11/2 in the first at York
I remember thinking he looked a nice prospect but I think it was Nass who had him down as the Supreme Novices Hurdle winner![]()
