Sterling leaving Liverpool can be a blessing in disguise to Liverpool. If the grass is not greener somewhere else Sterling have to blame himself as no one forces him to leave.
we could sign Tom cleverly.. He recently said that wages aren't really a actor as no perm player is going to be hard up (was actually quite refreshing to hear)
Who would the 4 be .. Sterling , Ibe , Skrytel plus ?.... I can't think its 9 ?... And as for Sterling it must be 10 weeks since he turned down a 70k per week rise .. so thats 700k light in his bank and at least another 10 weeks to come before he shuffles off to an as yet unnamed location ... so thick end of 1.5m lost or saved by the club.. He should be stood down and frozen out .. turning into a bad egg ..we can do without him or anyone else holding the club to ransom .. after all he's not consistent , not a natural goal-scorere and far to lightweight .. can't see him gettign a game for any team above us and Braca / RM wont be beating a path to his door ....his cumuppance isnt to far away surely .. greedy sod
I would guess that they're including Jones, Toure, Johnson and Gerrard in the nine, all four are out of contract this summer. Isn't Coates out of contract too? The other four probably includes Hendo who has signed a new deal not long ago. Sterling, Ibe and Skrtel are the remaining three.
Yeah, it's not Coates. He joined in 2011 on a seven or eight year deal so he's got at least another year to go.
Sterling is a scrote. I'm not fussed. £35 mil and bye bye. His effort since his cringing BBC interview has gone down the pan, says what kind of guy he is. Suarez gave 110% all the time, and left the contract whinging to the off season at least
On Coutinho. Rodgers told Coutinho at the end of last season that he see's his future as a number 8. The creativedriving force of the midfield. In our diamond last season Coutino often partnered Henderson in the middle. In this role Coutinho had a lot of freedom. But he did not gain it through brilliance, he gaine d it because every opponent double marked SAS. Early on this season Coutinho regularly partnered Henderson in the middle but he struggled so much that he was dropped in favour of Allen. The reason he was dropped was because Suarez was no longer in the team being double marked and opponents realized that Sturridge and Sterling were much less effective with out great delivery from midfield, so they double marked Coutinho and Gerrard instead. This exposed a weakness in Coutinho's game. He cant hold his own physical against the stronger midfielders. As a no.10 or out wide Coutinho is a bit more out of the firing line and can have more freedom, this means e can show his full magic. Coutinho could have a future at no.8. But only if we sign enough world class players that teams cannot afford to double mark him, or he learns to hold his own better.
When playing in the middle, he was dropped in favour of Allen. What does that tell you about Coutinho at CM...? Coutinho was anonymous most of last season too (whether CM or out wide), he's really come to life since being pushed forward and given a free license to make things happen.
Thinly veiled attack to @Jimmy Squarefoot waiting for the rebuttal. We just need Sisu and Astro in this argument
re: contracts first off active negotiations can be included in turned down. ibe and sterling are publically known negotiations Jones is reportedly open as well for some bizarre reason thats 3. Sterling is well known to have turned down after that johnson was rumours to have been offer half what he is on to say way back and i've not heard a thing since january at least. Gerrard can't turn something down now seing he signed for la galaxy. That two.. toure wanted to go last year and was convinced to stay.. thats 7 i can count up so its a crisis? one chump turned down a lot of money and will be sold
