that is a point. however.... we can charge a loan fee.. the biggest issue i have this year is the lad stayed here, never played and sponged. he should have gone on loan again. Hopefully they won't and 6mil is cheap enough
Bring him over. There is no issue with divided loyalties for him as he's already played for both Manchester clubs.
One year deal is fine by me. We know he can cope with the PL, we know he has the work rate and desire and we know he'll be committed (so long as he doesn't fall out with the manager ) to the cause. Bring him in and bring in a top forward signing like Pierre too. We'd have options for once.
I'd be tempted to go with a two year deal with Tevez though. Plus, I can't see him joining anyone on a one year deal
depends on his wife and if he wanted to really go back to argentina or is it just posturing. I think at 31 he needs to be tkaen one year at a time which is why juve are having him playing the game. This you are 30 you get one year rolling stuff only works with players who won't move anywhere for a buck.
I think 30 is a bit young nowadays to apply such a rule. Players play for longer now than they used to do. I think it should apply from around 32/33 years old now.
He still has a year left so wl cost a few and fact they want to sign him for another year afterwards would suggest they don't want to sell
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...&utm_medium=newsletter&utm_campaign=liverpool PSV guy is still talking large. Seems he is saying ayre deffo spoke to him and LFc were looking at depay but then stopped for some reason. Puts rodgers in a slight bind.
So according to Brands were were interested in Depay as a backup, then Sturridge got injured and we needed someone who could do a proper job full time so walked away
It would suggest our strategy for next season is non existant as we should have been after a top striker like us fans have been saying since october. why call him a left winger? It sounds like sturrdige was still plan a b and c...
