It's a local fish dish (literally) a big fish stew basically, but bloody lovely.

I've never stayed in Portimao itself so no specific recomendations for places to eat I'm afraid, but it's lovely right the way along that coast. Will you have a car or are you being dropped there and left?

No car but I'm glad of that, I'll walk around and get a taxi/bus/train back if I venture too far, I've done a lot of searching for bars and places to eat and it looks great.

I'm lucky that I get to do this at my age it's usually wife and 3 kids and bedlam but as this is a footy tour just like 2 years ago I can just do what I like for a week. There's a bunch of people going but it'll be on the piss 24/7 and as much as I like a beer I love to explore and get into the culture of a place. I'll go out with the group now and then but do my own thing a lot.

Can't wait.

The Algarve is a fantastic place, sunny, hot, but with a nice breeze coming in off the Atlantic, so it's never really humid and uncomfortable. I was never really arsed about going, but went by chance once and just loved it. It's my aim to retire out there. Enjoy it mate. <ok>

Question to RHC and IBWT about tradition:

In the past, our parents only have sex with their wives when they want to make babies. I call that tradition.
Most if not all, have deviated from this tradition including RHC and IBWT?.
Why the two are not different from others??:laugh::laugh:
