Tradition what Tradition?.
I used to live in North Woolwich many years ago, if you want to go to South Woolwich you have to go by Ferry or you walk under the tunnel.
Greater London Council then decided to build a bridge to link North and South to save money because Ferry maintenance was costing them
too much.The local people decided that Ferry was their tradition, the council cannot build the bridge. Sometime tradition is stupid, like
Fish and chips only on Friday.
