It's just a shame Ings has to battle his way into the side with Mario, Borini and Lambert all in front of him

Assuming you're referring to Ings, please explain how his goals helped relegate Burnley.
I think it was more a case of his lack of goals.............

Once his goals dried up, they had nothing.

He's only scored 1 in his last 11 games.

So the exact opposite of what he said? <whistle>

Indeed; that has to be a concern. As a cheap, foruth-choice English striker I can see the appeal. He's not the man to be our number one though (certainly not yet, and probably never). It's ironic that we always warn young English players about moving to Chelsea or City and then disappearing (Rodwell, Sinclair etc.); I fear the same could hapen to Ings at Liverpool, albeit he'll almost certainly get more chances here than he would at those clubs.

I think it's a crap move for the player personally. He's not going to develop warming your bench.

Well, he'll probably get a run-out in the cups and Europa League, but on the whole I agree. That could change though if we can't shift the deadwood strikers or don't bring in anyone else, especially if Studge spends all season injured again and Origi turns out as duff as he could be.

It wouldn't completely surprise me to see him sent out on loan, either in August or January, if he's not getting game time. If nothing else, we may then hopefully be able to sell him for a profit.

Who was [HASHTAG]#rodgersthefraud[/HASHTAG] talking about in this quote?

“He is arguably the best physical player I’ve worked with in terms of his pace..... power and fitness."

I hope you're not trying to diss the legend that is Fabio Borini?

“He’s technically strong, he’s a good finisher with both feet, he can play central or on the sides in a 4-3-3 up front, he’s quick, and he’s tactically very good"
