Are we going with Original as Origi's new nickname? We've also been reasonably linked with Aubameyang in recent days. If we had say Studge, Aubameyang, Origi and Ings, that doesn't seem the worst line-up in the world. Though that assumes that all of Balotelli, Lambert and Borini are going. The latter two will, I think, Balotelli maybe not. Studge, Balo, Origi and Ings defo doesn't sound as good.
Liverpool are preparing a move for Burnley striker Danny Ings, 22, following the Clarets' relegation from the Premier League. (Liverpool Echo) Serie A side Lazio are considering a move for Liverpool striker Fabio Borini. The Reds wanted £12m for the 24-year-old but may accept less. (Mail) Liverpool have been scouting Real Sociedad defender Inigo Martinez, 23, and are prepared to pay his £21.7m release clause. (Star)
After Sundays game I think the nails are already in the coffin of Balo's LFC career. Not picked for the bench with young Sinclair and Lambert chosen ahead of him, BR even confirmed that he hadn't been picked just because. Only way he stays is if we can't find a buyer.
Fair enough. Alhough the buyer thing could a problem. If someone offered, say, 5 million for him, would the club take it? 8 million?
I think it's a good nickname. It's quite original.... Baddum tsh yeah I said above and on different thread Sturridge ings origi and one of Lacazette or aubamayang would be a vey good forward line. Plenty of pace and movement and will bring out the best in sterling (if he stays) and coutinho
it has to translate into an actual bid... right now any talk of fee is pointless. it won't be more than 6mil.
how???? borini 6mil lambert 2mil would be very lucky that would mean 12mil for balotelli to make 20mil Oh i'd have to say take it.
OK so when lazio ring up ayre he should say Nah go do one spaghetti muncher, slam the phone down and tell borini agent to tell them to come back with 10mil
Jesus. When you were born they really quick with that sense of humour bypass weren't they. ****in hell
Former Manchester United and Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez will be offered a one-year contract extension to stay at Juventus. The 31-year-old Argentina international has been linked with a move to Boca Juniors. (Football Italia) I don't care that he is 31 now, sign him up instead of Ings and then splash out on a top striker as well. Johnson, Toure and Gerrard leaving will free up enough wages, never mind when we sell Mario, Rickie and Fabio too.
Lazio and other Italian teams will try and get Borini on loan for the next few seasons. Remember Aquilani?
