Now the pressure is off, what are the chances we go and win all 3 games left and still finish 5th.

shame about Burnley, I was hoping they might stay up. lack of goals did for them in the end.
I applaud there approach and application though. they gave it a right go and to be relegated with so few games left shows the effort Dyche and his players put in <applause>

I believe we are going to finish 5th still even if we lose to Chelsea, because result went our way today.

I dunno, I think this Chelsea side would wipe the floor with most previous champions. Though the teams around them have definitely declined like City & Man Utd.

I think Arsenal are at about the same level as they usually are, just that City & Utd haven't been as good. We are at the same level as usual barring last season where we massively over performed. Spurs are about the same as usual too.

The fact that United are going to finish above us is a ****ing embarrassment. They were beyond abysmal. Rodgers lost Suarez, boo hoo, but no excuse to spunk 120m up the wall.

We are making a habit of this kind of ****. We lose some top class player - Torres and Suarez in succession. And what do we replace them with ? A series of "medium" quality mid priced players. For goodness why oh why don't we or more accurately doesn't Rodgers learn from these mistakes? When you have 10 million, you take a gamble. How do you gamble with £120m?

  18. They've been alright but they had a great opportunity to push for the title but their efforts have been nearly nonexistent. Chelsea have been in second gear since Christmas.

Problem is we won't sign players who are already at their 'peak'. We try to sign players who have the ability to increase their value and don't want top bracket wages.

That leaves us with the Coutinho's, Sturridge's, Lovren's & Balotelli's of the world. Its players who are damaged goods in some way and haven't quite hit the potential or level expected of them. Its quite risky and doesn't always work, as proved by us and our signings.
