One thing to remember is that Cameron has already said he personally doesn't want to be PM for a third term. He is certainly going to want to be remembered though so being free of the LD shackles and having a majority could see them pushing through some deeply unpopular stuff early on at least. In 2.5 years time they will start to rip themselves apart like Labour did when Blair said he was going but was still hanging on. We could well see a very early lurch to the right in the hope that they can get the economy back on track and tackle the deficit. The money has to come from somewhere and it won't be from Mansion Tax.

Agreed. He's got an 18 months to 2 years honeymoon period where he'll try and get most of his work done. Then the infighting will begin for the leadership. That's when they could implode. They'll get **** all done in the last half of their term.

It's a scary thought though that he could one day be prime minister. :emoticon-0101-sadsm
Wonder if we'll get our pledged promise of a referendum on the EU before Cameron gets the heave-ho. :emoticon-0138-think:emoticon-0112-wonde

I think he'll set out some core changes he wants to the EU constitution amd if he gets them there wont be a need for a referendum.

Either way, I think we'll stay in whatever.
