as long as we don't pay over the odds - Koke or Pogba will be very good addition for us.

The media are at it already. Just in todays press that I could find over here in Melbourne, Chelsea are tracking Pogba, Koke, Varane, Mauro Icardi and Paulo Dybala.
No doubt another dozen or so will appear on the list soon!

Lots of people linked with Varane, i would be shocked if Real let him go.

I think Pogba is probably a no go. Juve don't want to sell and if they do it's likely to be silly money. Dybala looks certain to go to Juve given comments he has made about staying in Italy. Koke would be a good signing and a cheaper alternative to say Pogba.

I still think Khedira on a free or Sneiderlin would be good bits of business.

Khedira is a no brainer, especially if he is free.

Are you guys still happy with Gary Cahill?
I know I may seem a trite nitpicky but I still see him as the weak link in our back four.
Zouma looks great I have to say.

We can rotate JT-Cahill-Zouma until JT goes.

What about rotating Iva-Cahill-Zouma when JT goes if we can't get a replacement for the Leader...

Iva would give us experience and some leadership in the middle.

I think that JT as a leader is going to be so difficult as he is a one-off. I do worry about when he finishes. Zouma is class.

I think Cahill is good enough for week in week out in the premier league. He's in the team of the season as well so must be doing something right.

Despite some sterling C.L 2012 performances, it's in Europe I'd have my biggest reservations. But I certainly don't feel that defence is a top priority this season. Would like to see how some of the promising young centre halves develop in the next couple of years as well.

However if we were in the market, Hummells is the obvious one. Young enough, bags of experience and looks gettable.

I think Zouma will have a big part to play this season. With JT not getting any younger, he will need to be involved.

We can add Roberto Firmio and Nathaniel Clyne to the list of players Chelsea are "after", according to the media.
Gary Cahill had quite a poor spell, but finished the last few games much better. He is not a "bad" player, just not consistently at his best especially when he and JT are faced with real power and pace. With Zouma going to get more game time, we have the luxury of using Cahill, Terry, Zouma and even Ivan, as rotation in CD with Dave at his correct position of Right back. Pity we sold Bertrand, he's the perfect left back we now need.
Defence looks very good for one more season but Varane coming would mean a giant step up.

Do you agree with reports of Felipe Luis going?
I always thought he did a decent job when he played, and was impressed with him tbh.
Certainly more than I have been with Cuadrado.

Sincerely doubt you'll get Koke. Seems Atletico through and through and Barca are well known to covet him... He's most likely to stay put for another season.

I like Luis and think he must be wondering why he came to us. I don't really like a right-footed left back, it isn't a natural position for a right-footed player. Dave is class and should be at RB. Luis at LB for me.
