Reina, Kelly, Johnson, Agger, Skrtel, Maxi, Gerrard, Poulsen, Kuyt, Meireles, Torres. Subs: Gulacsi, Cole, Pacheco, Aurelio, Ngog, Wilson, Shelvey.

no lucas not even a sub and poulsen keeps his place interesting to say the least

So whats the deal with the formation? Something like this?

----------Poulson-------Meireles------

Kuyt-----------Gerrard-----------Maxi

-----------------Torres-----------------

Hopefully Meireles will be allowed to push forward though. Perhaps Lucas is injured? Can't see why else he'd have been left out....

Lucas is apparently injured. It looks like the formation is the same as it was against Wolves except Gerrard is in for Lucas.

Lucas was injured I heard...

Does anyone else think we struggle with Stevie in the team?

Sounds weird but back in OCT, NOV when we didn’t have Stevie we played Bolton away and Blackburn at home and won... then we didn’t have him for Manu, Everton and Wolves and we seemed to be more free flowing and easy on the eye....

Oh come on Roberto, we all know what Stevie brings to the team, lets not start looking for others to blame for team performances. I thought we Played well tonight. And its nice to see some fight in the team at last, Coincidence or not, since the King came in the players are starting to play for the jersey, and bind together as a team. keep it up fellers

I'm not slating him Ken (sorry) he's still my favourite player of all time It's just something I picked up on and I was curious if anyone else had.

There's no denying he's a massive asset I just wondered if his role in the team leaves others unable to shine...

In the first half, when Dirk played a terrible pass (you're all probably thinking which one...) to Gerrard which nearly caused somebody to hit Gerrard hard in the tackle, Gerrard got up and turned to Dirk and said, "Thanks for that, Dirk" in a pissed off way.

Dirk was absolutely terrible last night, and he looked like he was lugging a big sack of spuds around on his back. All hunched over and blowing for tugs. He looks like he needs a major rest to me.
