I worked for my local council during said period.

Myself, and plenty of others, were hired and then laid off during that period. Maybe they did create 900,000 jobs but they sure as **** didn't sustain 900,00 jobs you ****ing spacker.

Scottish councils had already begun the exploitation of zero hour contracts during that time as well so your nothing more than a blind fool. I'd also like to know how many of those 900,00 jobs related to the scheme labour ran, where if you were 6 months unemployed then you were given first chance over anyone else. I worked with 6 people over a 4 year period, in a group of no more than 6 at the busiest times, who got their job through that scheme. It was only 6 months of guaranteed work.

Donaldson was arrested and held. He was never charged with any offence and no evidence was ever shown against him.

His crime? He fought against the conscription of Scottish women to work in English munition plants.
