Watching Palace now. If we couldnt break down the WBA defence at home I cant see how we're going to do it against this lot. Our only hope is Carrick being fit to return.

Palace are not a counter attacking side. They have scored zero goals from counter attacks and certainly dont sit back with 11 behind the ball.

It won't be easy but as they play nothing like the last 3 sides weve played, there should be more space.

And its not as if we havent created chances. We haven't scored them. Two very different things.

I'd be rubbing my hands thinking you lot have Arsenal AND Palace, but we have Palace too <doh>

AM hoping now cos Chelsea are champions already they aren't arsed when they play us ...

There's creating...and then there's opening up defences. We created scraps yesterday.

Way we're playing I really cant predict us beating anyone. Pray for Carrick so Rooney can play up front <ok> [HASHTAG]#kill3birdswith1stone[/HASHTAG]

It's nothing less than embarrassing United even being in this position.

Their keeper played a blinder. Sure they were no guilt edged chances but 9 out lf ten times, we score 3+ yesterday. It was one of those days.

Carrick back would certainly change things for the better though. Its unlikely to make a difference if Rooney is up top or not though. What we are missing with Carrick being out is runners from deep. Those 8 goals between Mata and Herrera are what we miss when Carrick isnt playing.

Man Utd only need one more win for 4th place to be certain. We win at least 1 of the final 3 games.

<laugh>

I honestly dont mind defeats, only the manner of the defeat. If we play the best we can and lose then fair enough. If we play like a bunch of cowards then fck that ****.

Yesterday was more frustrating after recent weeks. We seemed to take our passing down a notch in terms of pace and i can only remember one or two attampts at splitting the defence. Nobody was running from deep until rvp dropped into midfield <laugh> and made a few.

For me, against Palace Di Maria has to start. We have to accept his overall game will be poor but he has the ability to make those incisive passes and get in behind teams. His crossing is far superior to Youngs so when he is in behind, hes more likely to find someone on our team.

Of course if Carrick plays we might not have to play Di Maria as Herrera will be more offensive where he too, can create. He would also link up with Mata again.

Fellaini needs a game out though. So teams have to think again about out focal point. Teams have worked out that by sitting deep and also putting multiple defenders on Fellaini they make it hard for us to break them down with plan A, but also have cover for plan B when we go long.

Next season van Gaal needs to find the balance between dominating possession and enticing teams to come at us.

Yep. Time to bring back Di Maria . If he flunks it then he should be sold. He is quality but for some reason if he can't perform for us then we should get someone else.

City 1-0 up. Draw is probably the best result but a win for City realistically put spurs in a difficult position re CL.

You are the most under-pressure fan on here UIR <laugh> If LVG fcks top 4 up from this position, how the hell are you gonna talk your way out of it <whistle>

I'm waiting for his keegan-esque "I'd love it if we beat them" outburst

UiR singlehandedly pulled out a result for us against QPR, and was the man responsible for Gerrard's goal. <ok>
