The rise in pie sales (and other high fat snacks) is set to continue next season as their star man is staying! http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/cardiff-citys-missing-man-kagisho-9145251
Why would he leave? 2 years left on his contract, he's 30 now, and on £25/30k per week. That is why he came to us from Palace - they were lowering his wages. We're stuck with him the same as Velikonja who has another year to go. No wonder where getting players on the cheap now when we still have to pay big money in wages for players with zero contribution!!!
On another thread we were discussing how criminal some previous management regimes were. Now it's criminal how much money we've wasted on transfers and wages. Makes the previous shenanigans pale into insignificance. We need to run a tight ship, but we also need some quality!
Being a little more serious, I agree with both your points. However, he has been injured. He was a reliable and integral part of Palace's side for a few seasons. If we can get him fit he is exactly what we've been missing from the centre of the pitch this season. The flip side is if we do get him fit Slade will probably play him in goal........
If he wants to put in the effort to get fit or just sit back and take the cash? If he gets up to speed and is effective for us next season then I will admit to being wrong and applaud him. Time will tell.
After this appalling season in general, nothing would surprise me about fatso or anyone else at the club for that matter. When you think back to the expectation levels whipped up by Ole's pre-season signings and being installed as favourites to go up, the last 8 months have been a bloody farce. It seemed a bold (and correct) move to oust Ole at such an early stage in the season, but for whatever reason, the **** we've been served up since has driven even some hardened City supporters away from the club. We need a fresh start and preferably without some of the overweight deadwood at the club - and that includes the manager.
I was hoping that the great news would have been either Slade is going back to Orient or Gunnarrson decides to leave
