What a noob. I got Tobes to jinx the **** out of himself too by arguing Lukaku vs Benteke pre-game. Morons.
True mate, besides, the PL would be just too pacey for him anyways, Costa Rica showed what a pile of ****e he is against an energetic midfield
6 red cards between 5 away teams out of the 6 fixtures in the PL today so far. Money on a West Brom red card?
Why is anyone arsed with comparing Scholes and Gerrard when they were different types of player and played in sides of varying quality. Scholes was brilliant. Gerrard was brilliant. Both are highly decorated. Gerrard sacrificed PL medals for loyalty - a credit to him not a criticism. ANYWAY on the actual thread topic A laboured win which shows why we need to clean the deadwood, buy more fullbacks, another striker etc no presence in midfield... Sterling not worth anything close to what he wants or even what we'll end up giving him.
No one is comparing I merely made the point that when both got old they got worse, tho UIR is in denial and thinks Scholes was world class in his mid 30s
That was painful, but glad to get the win in the end. Good strong header from Gerrard, and one of his better games overall recently. Ibe made a big impact when he came on. Maybe that was because Lallana was so ineffective though. Glad Lambert got a start, he did pretty well considering. Still want to see him and Balo up top with Couthino in behind. Sterling worthless again. Would be happy with anything over £30m for him in the summer if he wants to go.
Gerrard may have got old but he is still class. The one big regret is that Rodgers didn't play him in the match against the mancs. I know it is all gone and it is hindsight but if we had not lost against them a few weeks ago, we would still be favourites to get that CL place. Gerrard will be missed!
Well done lads, deserved the win. Hopefully this was a post-Suarez transitional season & you'll be back knocking on the door again next season. So long fellas!
top top top prediction. Not only did you help us but you screwed your own, how's that schadenfreude working for you
