I wouldn't vote Labour if you paid me a months worth of Venom's salary. They're a bunch of back-stabbing, Establishment ****s who're only interested in lining their own pockets.

Tory or Labour in power at Westminster? Doesn't really make much difference to most Scots.

The one thing I agree with ER on is that nationalism is for ****s. To think you're somehow due something for being born in what is essentially fictional, invisible boundaries is a joke.

That being said, I would vote SNP if my local MP wasn't such a nationalist bawbag. I've been saying for ages that the SNP should rebrand themselves into something less nationalist focused. I see David Blunkett said earlier that people in Scotland seemed to have just switched off. I wonder what he would say if I told him that his eyes just seemed to have switched off. I think he'd tell me I was oversimplifying.

Personally I'm looking forward to MP's being kept at Westminister all night. Make the ****s work 6 days a week 16 hours a day I say.

In case you haven't noticed people prefer to be part of a localized gang. Whether that is saying am a Scotsman, or a Yorkshireman, or a European, or a Man of the Earth. People, all people, the world over, firstly define themselves as part of something very local to them.

That is the kind of animal we all are. Mankind is a pack animal.

The politician's job, the religious leader's job, the job of governance, is to make use of that fact so they can make use of it to manipulate us. They will put one issue of a group against another group to suit their own needs. In other words, politics.

So, what is wrong with me wanting my own country to govern my own affairs? It gives the politicians and religious leaders a smaller surface area to attack and divide.

I'm of the opinion that the further we advance scientifically, technologically, etc ****ing etc, the more united as a species we will become. I definitely won't see it, which means you sure as **** won't see it but it'll happen. Hippy bollocks, I know. Faced with some sort of extinction or the discovery of life on distance planets I think its the only possible outcome.

Borders are fictional lines made by man. The only borders I recognize are the impassable mountain ranges or endless deserts made over millions of years by mother earth, ****.
