    I have been to Bournemouth once. Not for football. Quiet place. Nothing special and the seafront was not as nice as Blackpool.

    Have to agree here. The beach and sea are much cleaner in Bournemouth. Also if you swim out in Bournemouth the water shallows when you get 100 metres out from the coast before dropping like a chasm. Unusual but interesting for any swimmer!

    Shame the place is 99% full of OAPs

    That explains the quietness of the place.

    On the football, championship champions rarely replicate their form in the premiership. For obvious reasons. I have watched Bournemouth on a few occasions. They were quite impressive and if they can play like they did last season they will beat a few fancied teams.
