Reports to suggest Napoli want to keep him.

I'd take Rafa back though. People moan about his latter years at the club but they seem to forget the **** from the owners he had to endure too. Once Gerrard and Johnson leave this summer, there will only be Skrtel left from Rafa's reign so it'll be a new dressing room for him as well.

Are they taking the dressing room with them? <yikes>

Southampton's success and stability has nothing to do with Everton's tragedy or Liverpool's flim flamming tho has it. Southampton are amiing to stay where they are, we are aiming higher, when you jump to reach a height, the fall is harder.

I don't go using Spurs to measure Everton. There's a good reason for that too<ok>

Who said I measured against them, I said earlier that they had not over performed and had continued to improve as they had done for the 2/3 previous seasons<laugh>

All these data mining skills you have are not working are they

Southampton have significantly over-performed
Everton have massively under-performed

I fully agree that we have underperformed[img class="mceSmilie" title="F Ok However Southampton have done what they have done in the last three seasons......improved each year

my signature answers that question as it has done for oh..... what 5 months?

the fact that we've ended our season and now rely prob on arsenal for europe means the conversation that was always going to occur at seasons end are occurring earlier thats all

My atitude

is **** it hit him in the head with an axe if he is retained.

Fed up of there being four threads about one man so merged the ****ers. Don't like it? Tell someone (preferably Enricky) who gives a damn :)

just chalk this one down with all that spam you've been doing as reasons to sack you :bandit:

I say lets all just abuse rodgers on the one place....

This is where being a moron and thinking your club can only ever move forwards when every other club is trying to do the same gets managers sacked for their own success.
Everyone admits 2nd was a massive overachievement last season so why does it suddenly become the new standard? What does it matter if we spent £60m if we still only have the 5th most expensive squad?
Our effective net spend was £28m (£9m less than Everton), ignoring Origi who comes next season.
This is where some moron who because he can do some fancy charts and have some stats to hand think they know more about football than anyone else <laugh>

So I and many fans are wrong to believe that this season has been a failure. Why? because we should be happy satisfied with our lot. Because our squad is the fifth most expensive we should be by right be 5th forever. Sod the fans who had ambitions for their club. May be we could get another 2nd place in another 10 years time??

So City, Chelsea Man United Arsenal should always be first, second third and fourth in that order. This is what football is all about. <applause>
