Jose has reportedly made quite a long explanation of our recent style of play and the reasons for it. He puts it down to injuries and suspensions, and thus availability of players. He states again he does not want a bigger squad, but wants all the squad to be able to adapt their style of play to the players around them.
Most exciting for those interested in our kids, is that Solanke is on stand by for Costa against Arsenal, probably from the bench, and that next season, Loftus Cheek will be in the first team. Throw in Ake and Zouma and that is a pretty good sign of the way Jose is thinking. I for one, hope so.

That`s the way it should be done, a player should be made/built to fit the team, not the team to fit a player. Any player should be replaceable with a squad player maybe/probably not as good, but someone who can step in and keep the team structure without too much disturbance to it`s performance.

Unfortunately, Jose was full of it again. I don't believe a word he says when he talks about our kids. He never develops ,he always buys the product of someone else's hard work, maybe because he can't do it himself.

You obviously did fall for it or you would not have created this thread.

Stop listening to TV hype, avoid kneejerk reactions and then you will not be disappointed.

We all know Jose likes almost-made hungry 23-34 year olds not kids.

Be patient: hopefully we'll loan out Loftus-Cheek or sell him and buy him back again when he's ready <laugh>

Stop lecturing people as if you are the start and end of all knowledge. I don't get TV hype cause there isn't any, I am not making knee jerk reactions, and above all you are in no position to lecture anyone on starting threads, you do nothing else but. Eleven of the posts on the first page of Not 606 are from you.

Well then stop writing stupid posts complaining about Jose not playing Ake when he has a torn hamstring.

He was recalled from Reading last week and was on the bench last night you'll ne pleased to know seeing as you were so concerned about his absence on another thread

You start a thread on Sunday saying you are happy with Jose's way of thinking then completely change your mind saying you don't believe him anymore on post 3 because he did not put Solanke on the bench (which you misread, he never promised to do so and put Loftus-Cheek on the bench, an equally good prospect in my humble opinion)

Posts like these make Chelsea fans look pretty fickle and silly imo.

Why get your toys out of the pram just cos Solanke does not make the bench?

If we win the title on at the weekend then IMO there are no excuses for not giving the likes of RLC, Solanke, Ake and Christensen some game time. Sure, there won't be anything to play for but it's still the experience of playing in arguably the best league in the world with some top players in front of thousands of people.

If we don't see any youngsters in the final three games (assuming we beat Palace) then i don't think we'll ever see them. It's the perfect opportunity.

I agree. Fabregas and Hazard in particular deserve and need resting if possible. Lets get the title done early and give some prospects some starts. Cuadrado needs some game time as well.

People often get over whelmed by the amount of promising talent in the youth squads but really people have to appreciate that like any other top team it will be at best 2-3 over the next few seasons. I imagine Ruben, Solanke and perhaps Bamford are the ones that can cut it.

We nicked him from Feyenoord when he was 15, he'd been at their academy for three years and Den Haag before that.

Lets talk about stupid posts shall we, cause as usual you have misread and misquoted mine in your never ending quest to show the world how clever you are.
    1. I never once suggested Jose play Ake for the Arsenal game, just said Jose had had opportunities during the season but didn't use them. Pretty stupid interpretation.
    2. I have never said I was happy with Joses thinking, I simply suggested he might finally be coming around since he stated that Solanke would be on the bench, (and that was NOT misread it was quoted verbatim), and Loftus Cheek in next years squad. You misinterpreted and misquoted me.
    3. Did not "change my mind", I have always thought Jose wouldn't play kids. My original post was to express my surprise at his apparent change of mind, which everyone understood, except you, since you are the only one who jumped to the rescue.
    4. I did no get any toys out of my pram about Solanke, again you miss the point, which was that Jose again mislead everyone.
So look in the mirror before launching into another holier than thou criticism of posters, it's you who make Chelsea fans look silly as attested by the number of critics you attract.
I'll take valid criticism from anyone, but coming from you it's too often distorted and innacurate.
