As widely touted by just about everybody who knows anything about football Edin Hazard won the prestigious award after being voted the best by his peers. Also Chelsea have 6 players in the team of the year which is fitting for the premiership champions.
That's the best Award to win, he deserves it. Congrats to those in the Team of the year, and maybe we have all been too tough on Cahill?
Thoroughly deserved. Let's just hope we can keep him. My worry would be that Real could come calling in the summer. Once they fixate on a player, contracts go out the window and they nearly always get their man. If we are going to get back to a position of challenging Real, Barca and Bayern for the trophy with the big ears we have to hold our best player and add more quality. Here's hoping !
I fear the worst next season. Always hate Real. Buying power of Manures x 1000 = Real. Cahill lacks some defensive skills & ability, but he makes up with his effort. Above all he gets zero protection from Ivan & Fab / Rambo. He was running on empty around new year. The break did him good.
If real want to pay £200m then he can go. Remember that he's just signed a new FIVE year deal and Roman doesn't need the cash. We have the resources to let him fester on the bench. We are pretty much the only team that Real can't bully in the transfer market. Don't. Believe. The. Hype.
Hazard won't go anywhere this year, that's almost a certainty. The club aren't stupid and if silly money was offered and/or a deal with Bale then maybe. But I'm not even thinking about that for another year at least. I think Real are more likely to go for Reus myself. Anyway, well done to the lad, thoroughly deserved despite that wally UIR saying it wasn't up for debate and De Gea would win!!
