What is really the bottom line here is that I , and pretty sure most United fans agree with me, is that today wwe were well and truly beaten by an Everton side who thoroughly deserved the win.

What all this has to do with Liverpool fans who now have to admit that last years second place really was a fluke, and they are back to their usual outside the top four placings. Add to that the comments from that little club in Yorkshire that hasn't been a serious threat in the championship. shows a huge envy of the success at United. Maybe you should both address the problems in your own clubs over the last 25 years before you have a pop at United. If you check the record books, Blackburn Rovers have had more success than both of you combined.

Not actually been to Leeds then?

Sweaty tart
Season ticket holder for more seasons than you've probably been alive.

Used to have a soft spot for Everton. Until now, when I discovered their supporters are actually just scummers that can't get a ticket for Old Toilet. Now I'm inclined to look forward for your manager to take you the way of Wigan. Can't wait!

Blind scummer?
Let me spell it out. Didn't you see the original comment that elicited my response, or did you just choose to ignore it like the scummers did i.e. they're allowed to cast up our Turkish disaster, but we're not allowed to respond by mentioning their overseas disaster.

No I didn't see it. If true then that too is a disgrace. Doesn't make what you said right though.Where was it?

Once Martinez has dragged you down a league or two, and you give up supporting your team, then perhaps you'll put your time to good use and learn a bit of vocabulary. Posts like that preserve the stereotypical view that all scousers are thick. You certainly seem to relish in promoting this view.

See post 33. I also quoted it when I made my comment in post 48.

And you're right, it doesn't make my post right. I apologise to those who were not part of it, but I do not apologise to my response to the moron. If a small child bites you, the general consensus is that you bite the child back, so it relates it's behaviour to the impact it results in. A lesson he's clearly never learned.

What today showed was what we're lacking.
We're ****ed without Carrick and Blind is not adequate cover. Carrick is 35 next season so needs long term replacement as well as cover.

I still think we're at least four players from a proper competitive squad, I would go for;

Paul Pogba, although highly unlikely he'll come back. Understandable given he was overlooked for a midfield of Park and Rafael but worth persuing. Would be massive money.

Sami Khedira on a free. No brainer, a million miles better than Blind in this position and has been there, done that.

Mats Hummels, a genuine class centre half is something we do not have.

Nathaniel Clyne and Dani Alves. We need both as we don't have a single right back of note.

A striker? Assuming Falcao leaves, which he should. Depay is touted but I haven't seen much so am not 100%.

No, the general consensus is that if you bite the child back it learns that its behaviour is normal and thus will bite again. Other children learn the same, thus perpetuating a cycle of one child biting another which then bites another and so on. Adults are supposed to be able to rise above that of course.

It's a highly apt consensus, given the usual forum tit-for-tat bollocks of "you mentioned this now we have to mention that" which results from this sort of exchange.

Point taken. Was consensus when my kids were born around 30 years ago.

I also note that you are more concerned with the diversion rather than the originating source of disgust. Don't you think your erstwhile colleague should be chastised for drawing my comment, or is it ok for you guys to aim disgusting comments at others whilst holding your hands up in horror when it comes your way?

You really do want to drive home the point that you're incredibly thick.I posted it once. Singular. Capisce?

I also note that there is absolutely no criticism aimed at the moron who started this in post 33. He was referencing the murder of 2 of our fans in Turkey. I guess your reluctance to critcise him indicates that you think his disgusting post is perfectly acceptable? I think you can safely claim the title of hideous cretin yourself. No effort required.

Isn't time the mods ****ing did their ****ing job? Some of us ****ers have been banned from other boards for not even doing 10% of what's happened today. <doh>

Back on topic, that was some ****ing bad day at the office! Conclusions to be drawn: 1) the team and manager are not ****ing as good as they'd like to think they are. And 2) more money needs to be spent on some top players (probably bringing the total spending to the £300m I thought was needed last year).

The team was quite rightly turned over. They wanted it more than us. It could have been much worse. The 3 teams chasing us have got one point on us instead of three. The RS could have made significant ground on us but through Brenda's incompetence they ****ed it up.

That's why I never took that CL place for granted until it is mathematically impossible to overtake us. We still need at least 2 wins to be sure.
