http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/arti...ens-jordan-turnbull-swindon-town-2418110.aspx OS piece about Turnbull and Stephens. Not strictly Academy, but part of development. This is not something that we usually do, but these two lads seem to have flourished during their spell at Swindon who are facing the play offs. They are in constant touch with Southampton and have regular meetings at Staplewood, so they don't feel shoved aside. And they are doing well....not all loanees at lower league clubs do so well...often they disappoint. Interesting to see what the long term future is for these players.
Is Turnbull and Jordan the name of your solicitors firm? Turnbull and Stephens are Saints players on loan at Swindon. I'm worried Fran. You shouldn't have a Gin until after the sun's gone down tomorrow, with all these errors. *Fran reapplies post it note*
I should have checked, but several letters on my keyboard are worn away and r is next to t. (Cue jokes about my massive number of posts).
http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/arti...rick-southampton-stoke-city-home-2422471.aspx U18s drew 2-2 with Stoke on Saturday. Despite being deprived of a win by a late goal, Limbrick pleased with his young side including 3 U16s. Keep that conveyor belt rolling
http://outside90.com/bought-vs-brought-up-the-southampton-academy323/ Nice blog about Saints Academy, containing the astounding fact that of all the money paid for home grown players since 2012, 40% went to us
