im -5 hours so i have to set the alarm you must be able to just carry on drinking from the night before .have a great wedding day
Enjoyed the away days review, OFH. Great stuff. Best wishes Mex! (Stirs up memories of season 82-83 when I had to miss the last game, v Liverpool, because my sister was getting married. Humph.) For tomorrow I have received a kind invitation from a friend in the village to watch the game on Sky. He even took my wheelchair back home with him to check I'd be able to get in to his house!
Good luck Mex, but what time is your wedding? Couldn't you tell everyone that you had to watch Layun? Talking of whom - on the BBC Layun is saying that here is no pressure on the Watford players, they realise what they have to do and believe that they have the skills to do it. Meanwhile one of the Bournemouth players, and Eddie Howe, are saying that they will not be looking at Saturday's results because of the pressure they are feeling. I can't help being reminded of the 1984 cup final, when we were so pleased to be there and Everton knew that they had to win to have achieved anything. Edit: That doesn't make a lot of sense. What I am trying to say is that we seem to be fully aware of what needs to be done, whereas Bournemouth are worrying about the ifs and buts and maybes.
Congrats Mex - as a veteran of many Latin weddings (including my own) I know it will not be a short night. Let's hope it's a double celebration.
That's someone really going out of their way to make your day Gordon. What a star. I've managed to nick a colleague's SkyGo login to watch it on my laptop so will be tensely hunched over that.
Could be a real party tomorrow - saw this on one of the other WFC forums: "Apologies if this has been referred to elsewhere but BHAFC are hosting a post match party for ALL fans tomorrow at 3pm. The last one was when they played Norwich and it resulted in both sets of fans doing the conga to a mods and rockers band.....headlining tomorrow are two DJs, one who was signed to Skint Records, and the party will take place in the East Stand. More details can be found on the Facebook page BHAFC Post-Match Party. I've been asked to spread the word"
All the very best on your wedding day. I hope it is indeed the best day of your and your wife's life as it should be. Cheers!
Fabulous thread M Frenchie! Thank you so much. It really has been massive fun at away games this season, even at Middlesbrough! The away support has improved in the same way as the home support but as could be expected, even more so, especially because of the larger crowds. I'm so excited for today and all the permutations keep running through my head but i'm sure as eggs are eggs we're on for a 3-1 today! I've also heard (not sure it's been mentioned) that some Brighton players have already been told they will be moved out next season, timing of that could be good for us!
It could also be bad news for us, as they'll want to impress any potential new employers, especially as the match is live on Sky! (Somehow, my comment ended up with the quote I was replying to)
Good morning all from a damp Uckfield in the heart of what is today bandit country. Spot of breakfast shower and a bus to the ground! Feeling the calmest and most confident of the week. As they at BHAPPY: Bring it on!
Two wins will secure promotion - whether those are in the next two games - the less pressure on your heart way - or by winning at least two in the play offs -depends on just how good we really - we can do it.
