Doukara is still young and does have good aspects of his game. He has more to offer than say Sharp has shown imo. and is probably more suited to that lone striker role than anyone else barring probably Morison (although Morison scores **** all).
If he could head a ball, you might be right - but he can't, knows it, & doesn't even try most of the time. I would say that he's more effective in a 4-3-3, as he's got blistering pace and can even play left wing.Doukara is still young and does have good aspects of his game. Looked at the squad list on Wiki...
I'm not going to miss Morison if we sell him, Zac Thompson can go. Anybody out of contract can go. I expect the likes of Byram and Mowatt to go if we get a good price. I think I read Cook was being eyed up by the Scousers but I can't see him getting 1st team football under Rodgers.
It was better than good WID, it was highlight of my weekend.Son in law a Villa fan so I have a soft spot for themRodgers wont be there much longer, and victimpool are on the downward spiral, watching Villa outplay them was good to see.

I'm sure Dawson is talented and he may still have a great career with Leeds, but I think it speaks volumes that he still hasn't been given a real chance when Redfearn is the manager - in fact, he gave Phillips his chance before Dawson. I would've sent him out on loan ages ago.
Different position, Dawson is Attacking Mid.
He was going out on loan for a full season loan and Cellino stopped it
Fair point, but he could've juggled the midfield around to accommodate Dawson instead of Phillips, but he chose not to. Redfearn and everyone at Leeds speak well of Dawson, as does virtually everybody who's seen him play, but he's been on the periphery for a long time now. I know he's had injuries, but maybe he's not progressed as much as he should have. A loan should definitely have happened a long time ago - why Cellino would stop him leaving on loan is beyond me.
Kissa what I don't get is why would Redders tell him that, unless it was well known at the club that Redders is on his way out? He must be a bit of a gobshyte in reality. Would anyone employ Redders as a manager - I don't think so. Yes he's been great for the kids but he's demonstrated he has favourites. He never got results when he was caretaker the first time. he got a couple of decent results this time, but that soon stopped until he got a sidekick and sine Tommo went he's lost everything. So he's shyte really and especially alone. Yes a lower league outfit maybe or even a coaching role at someone's academy
IMO Doukara is useless, for the size of him he can't even head the ball.Doukara is still young and does have good aspects of his game. I don't get the whole "he's **** without an assistant manager" bollocks. Is there any other team in English Football operating without one?
It's a ridiculous situation for a manager to be put in.
Think he's get a job at low end league 1 or mid table league 2 when he leaves us.

I agree mate, the lad is getting mixed messages.
Redders told him if he leaves he wants to take him wherever he goes.
He broke his leg as a youngster and then had a shoulder injury but he's arguably as fit as he has ever been but extremely frustrated.
1 minute told he is starting the next he's not even in the 19
