That's a True Religion tracksuit if I'm not mistaken, non-Sunderland issue. If he'd gone in wearing a Sunderland training outfit I'd understand, but he hasn't he's a ****ing chav.
Somehow this just feels like the latest episode in a catastrophic season for SAFC. You couldn't make it up.
Aye, we look silly for lifting the suspension in the first place. Our PR department, laughing stock yet again.
I don't think you look silly to be honest, it was just a gamble, he didn't come back and do anything of note. If he'd saved your bacon and then got sent down for this, that'd have looked fairly bad.
Well you being a neutral that's reassuring mate. I think we look like idiots but then it's the latest gaff in a decade of bad PR.
I don`t think that was wrong tbh. At the time there was nothing more than allegations. Bit different now he`s been formally charged though.
I do, first the u turn and now another u turn is needed. They should have decided to either suspend him or not and stuck to it.
You should never have lifted his suspension until the CPS made their minds up. Whose decision was that?
Seems like some have got him hung drawn and quartered before the trial has even took place....So much for being innocent until proven guilty eh!!
I agree mate but I`m wondering whether they were thinking how much he was needed on the pitch. Not that he made a massive difference mind.
Guilty proves nothing for some as well though mate, just look at Ched Evans... this isn't a cut and dry case, it's supposedly one girl so his defence has to be that he didn't know her age. Even if found guilty, people will still have his back if that's his defence. Some people draw lines where they see fit, if there's enough evidence to charge him. I wouldn't be happy about him being in a room full of kids, whilst still technically innocent, would you?
