So it's back in our hands. Let's hope we can get a team together for Saturday. All these injuries may just mean we can't keep the momentum going, but who knows!
its in our hands with 2 games to go! if we can get a fully fit team out for both those games we will do this!
IF They deserve it but it's going to be very difficult. After our 3 forced subs on Saturday the only players left on the bench were a rookie goalie and a player that's been out on loan to Chesham
Not the worst of results for you even if a draw may have seemed a better choice. You can still do this so don't give up just yet. Bury were due to hit a wobble given their recent record and they might fall away now if it continues. I may be grasping at straws here I know. You gotta look for something to cling onto.
If we win both games 1-0 then Southend would have to improve their goal difference by 8, for example winning each match 4-0. The number of times Southend have scored at least 4 in a match this season - none.
Looking at it now, just how crucial was the third and fouth goals against southend when we beat them 4-1 at our place? If we had just won that game 2-1, us and southend would be separated by a single goal difference! Even more crucial perhaps - Alfie Mawsons late equaliser at southend away! To add to stevie craigs complete fluke
Got hit by a bug yesterday and went to bed early, completely forgot about the game. I'm very happy with that result, just 2 wins needed. Come on boys.
Oh dear, we have a conflict of interest here. Would you settle for a draw? About the only result that would do us both a favour
What surprises me is how like last season this is but at the opposite end we needed two wins beat Bristol Rovers at home to stay up then Bristol Rovers blew it we won our last game stayed up. This season we are two wins from going up could the same happen again I hope not.
A draw isn't much cop to us Ron. If we win and Luton lose then we are as good as guaranteed to be in the playoff's final place. On goal difference that is irrespective of what happens in the last game. We have Shrews away who could well be going for top spot. I would not back us to get anything from there so it has to be this weekend. Mind you we have to beat Tranmere before that and the way we have been lately I wouldn't back us to do that either. You are just going to have to win your two games. Sorry.
