Sting had a beard years ago, he had a beard when I saw him on tour actually.

As for the Police being a Steel Pulse rip off, not really.
 
Sting notwithstanding, that bloke on the Jacamo add tells the story.

I agree, beards are now as ubiquitous as Tattoos. Evey **** and his mither have one nowadays, I prefer not to have a beard just so the laydees can see the beauty of my face and perfect skin.
 
Fair do's, he did have a beard back then, but it's dyed now, judging by that evidence, so my original point stands.

And kudos for admitting you paid to see him live.

It does look to have been dyed, but they were only the biggest grossing tour artists of 2007. So I wasn't alone in paying to see them.
