If the £ crashed then it would be cheaper to produce cars in the UK for the international market.
Most of the cars they make there would be for the British market so you really think they would build them abroad and ship them here just because of a hint of a referendum?
What an absurd claim, why would they even contemplate relocating to Spain?
Cheaper labour, production costs, just 2 reasons so far comes to mind.
You didn't read the OP did you? these cars are sitting on the docks for export to Europe.
The Irishman below can work it out, why can't you?
Plus Nissan and Honda will want their plants to be within the EU and therefore exempt from the punitive Trade Barriers the EU imposes on imports. Barriers to which UK exports would be subject if we left the EU.
The EU exports more to us than we to them.Nothing with Japan or the USA I notice. You think they'll be in a hurry to sign a free trade agreement with the UK after we publicly **** them off?
Look's like Nicola's had a bit of a make-over and abandoned her tried and tested helmet-head hairdo. Still widnae.

http://www.irishexaminer.com/business/trade-surplus-slips-1-but-exports-set-to-grow-324283.htmlThe UK imports more from the wider world than it exports. It's called being a bit ****. Should be more like Ireland and have a trade surplus of about €4 billion a monthhttp://www.irishexaminer.com/business/trade-surplus-slips-1-but-exports-set-to-grow-324283.html
