Right so the minority of Rangers fans riot in Manchester with 49 faces posted on Crimewatch and only 11 arrests made (out of around 200,000 attending) and right away all Rangers fans are branded lunatics who rampage through every European city they visit - this despite there being not one single incident in the whole European campaign that year up until Manchester. Now celtc fans riot in Australia (not for the first time in pre season either) and its all down to those bad Australians? <laugh>

Deary, deary me. Every time a tarrier visits a greenhouse he starts lobbing boulders all over the place.

^^

This is my personal favourite.

How did they apportion the tickets again?

Only team in the world to carry out criminal records checks on their own fans before issuing tickets then giving them free ones for the semi cos they didn't trash the place.

"No trouble in the lead-up to the final"

I wonder which AIDS-ridden, unemployed, dullard this **** was on BBC606 <doh>

Like I said, this is the 3RD PRE-SEASON IN A ROW that Celtic fans have been in bother.

It would be helpful for some of you to address the issue rather than just side-stepping and mentioning Manchester 2008.

Admit that it occurs and it is a serious problem.

It occurs and when it does it should be treated as a serious problem if there is serious trouble. I don't happen to believe there was "serious" trouble. There are more arrests at an OF game.

however if Hearts cannot be held accountable for one of their fans leaping a wall and trying to attack Lenny how are Celtic to be held accountable for a load of drunks on the other side of the world?
