Master of the understatement, Drunky It was the biggest dumbass move of the Championship season so far If Adams couldn't handle the make up and different personalities within the squad, then he had no business taking the role in the first place! Having said that, he made some astute signings which have helped get us to where we are today, so maybe the two factors cancel each other out somewhat.
I don't want to sound overcritical of Adams, but other than Jerome and Grabban (which have obviously been, broadly, big successes) I don't think he did a great job. Terrible when you look at only the CBs he signed!
I am preparing the 'Jerry Goss Screamer Chair' in readiness. Remember last time it was used was watching the Ipswich game and we got the 'Johnson Thunderbolt'. Time to blow up the inflatable canary and see if I can find my home shirt from our last promotion year! On the Ball City!
**** or bust tonight chaps with 3 left to go we need to win all 3 to go up and hope our GD will be better than Watford. I'm terrified of Fulham last game.
Annoyingly I have a feeling we'll draw tonight. But I also think Watford will draw, so hopefully we'll be alright
I was thinking about this. A draw would look like a disaster, but in reality Watford are likely to draw or lose at least one of their last three whatever people think about form, and the same can be said about Bournemouth. We would still be in touch. A loss, however, would put us behind 'Boro, obviously, so is out of the question.
Good luck tonight . Nothing against Boro , but have always had a soft spot for Norwich ever since my sister moved there a few years ago ( has since moved to Exeter ) . Such a lovely city , but such a pain in the ass to get to from here !!! also IIRC the year you got relegated to L1 , you sold about 18500 season tickets in the first two weeks ? That IS loyal support !!!......
Cheers Jasper, would be nice to win, go on and get promoted so we can resume battle with the Saints - normally enjoy our games against you, whatever the scoreline (well, at least since Le Tissier stopped playing)
Less than 4 hours to go and I am starting to get the butterflies. For most of the season I have not had a beer or four during the games but tonight is very different, I can't see how I can handle this one without alcohol to be honest. Win this one and think we will go up automatically, a draw will make for a nail biting end to the season, a loss will mean a play-off place.
I too will be busy tonight, so will not be able to watch. I'm not sure if I'm upset about it or not. Feeling rather nervous.
Much as it's perhaps illogical to assume 9 wins from 9 in the key remaining fixtures, I don't think we can rely on charity. Fail to win tonight and I think we'll finish in the playoffs.
