SGE has said he needs about 4 more players which would put the No. of players at 36, he has also said he needs to get rid of quite a few. Out of the current squad of 32 (10.07.11) who would you get rid of if you were SGE & what would your 1st team be v Coventry on the 6th Aug ? ...

I think Logan has gone out on Loan to Rotherham until Jan, but yes I agree with AKCJ.

If that´s the case with Logan then scrap SMITH out.

TBH I don´t know much about the younger players on the list & we will need abit of strength in depth but with the wage bill set to rise further some (fringe) players maybe sold or loaned out. It´s all in SGE hands, he´s already got rid of about 10 players, most on June 30th but there will be more that´s for sure. I think we have about 5 left that, in my opinion, will hardly ever play for LCFC again & we could do with out with our prem lge ambitions.

I'd also be interested to see Moreno and Kermo play under Sven to see what they can offer because I think they have both shown glimpses of quality at times.

Moreno was only really used as a centre back last season wasn't he?

AKCJ's list will defo stay and I don't know how Danns can't be included in our first 11, he's quality!!

I'm sure Sven has said he wants a squad of around 20 outfield players and 3 keepers. The 3 keepers are now sorted but we have 29 outfield players. I think Waghorn will go if another striker come in but not before that, I think Dyer rather than Moussa will go as Franck recently signed a contract 'til 2015. Berner will leave if Ball gets a contract. Sven's said Schlupp is in his plans for next season. I can't see Tunch staying due to all the CB we're signing and with Sven saying Bamba won't go I don't think he'll accept being 4th choice. I think the players to go will be:

Yeh I think Sven will loan him out til Jan. I think I heard it will be to a championship club though - hopefully one which will be at the wrong end of the table!

I'd drop King for Danns because although King scores goals he does very little else and is often anonymous whereas Danns can score goals and doesn't disappear.

I don't see why Tunchev will be 4th choice because if he's fit and back to how he was before he got injured then he's our best defender and would be the first name on the team sheet for me, none of our centre backs are guaranteed a place in my opinion.
