Well I'll go first guys. I have decided to concentrate on Carlisle for my picks bar the NAP: 210 Carlisle I wouldnt give up on tis one yet as he ran well for 3/4 of the race and then weakened dramatically so dropped a few pounds over shorter could see him win at decent odds? Quintano 25/1 Might be a long shot but Quintano ran at Southwell 51 days ago and was up with the pace until an error for which the jockey really should have been on the deck ended all chance of winning the race. The handicapper has dropped him 8lbs and now they try the a different combo of headgear and there's snippets of money around. 240 Carlisle Should have done the forecast but the money was right for Tiger as it bolted up. Bryden Boy 5/1 Ran okay in a 3m race at Ayr but the more i look at the race the more this one wins it by default as everything else is exposed or running for new yards and this one is only having its 3rd run with a mark. I think they might back this one so I'm getting on early. What's interesting is that the money has come for Tiger O Toole as its his first run for 300+ days and his first run in a 0-110 ans his first run for the stable with potentially 20lbs in hand!!! 345 Carlisle Sadly went wrong which is a massive shame for connections and without Bob being in the race the job was made a lot easier for Gingili. Bob Lord Tara 4/5 Ran well on all starts and although I'm a massive fan of Gingili i just think that it will need this experience where as Bob is hardened and a winner. 420 Carlisle Trust Thomas 5/1 This is a very competitive race but Trust Thomas travels like a class horse and then finds little when asked but at some point the jockey will get this right and im hoping its today. Better race and better ground should help his chances. 450 Carlisle Next Hight I took a while looking at this race and Scimon Templar looks the most likely winner but although he has won his last 2 over hurdles he just doesn't convince me over fences and at the short odds i wouldn't want to back him. Then you have the likely favourite Whiskey Chaser who made up for falling in a race he probably would have won when winning last time out but a 12lbs hike in the ratings is hard to overcome which leads me to Next Hight. I watched his last race back and although only 4th he jumped superbly and wasn't given the hardest of rides and if today's drop back in trip doesn't work he's one for the notebook as he will pop up somewhere and I'm willing to risk a few quid E/W @ 14/1 520 Carlisle Abricot De l'oasis First time over fences for Mccain, there isn't a lot of strength in depth to this race and if he improves on his last run I see this one being more than good enough. 300 Exeter Was disputing 2nd and seemed the only danger to the winner when coming down at the 2nd last but jumping is the game Allthekinghorses 9/2 NAP Ran 2nd in this race last year and from what I can see he has been readied for this race all season, he ran from the front and faded to be third and that was just to get a fitness edge in the race and for anyone backing Bucks Bond you are brave as if it was trained by anyone else it would be 16/1. Good luck to those who play
Isaacstown Lad 5/1 Carlisle 2:10 - has slipped down nicely to what looks like a winnable mark of 95 here and also drops down in class from his last run. He's having his first run for the Nicky Richards yard and on opening shows they look like they might be having a little punt.
There looks a few nice runners tomorrow even if they aren't great prices. Sgt Reckless, sixth in the Arkle, has been found a nice race in the 3.10 at Carlisle to get back to winning ways. She's Da One for Paul Nicholls has a great chance in the opener at Exeter. Vodka N Tonic will hopefully bring home the short-priced treble in the 3.35 at Exeter.
Either great minds think alike or mugs all flock together...... But after a study of the cards I got to agree with a few of the picks, Lucky 15 Isaacstown Lad 5/1 Tiger O'Toole 4/1 both Carlisle Amtired 6/1 Reposer 6/1 both on the deep sand However, for a sporting bet i've plunged on Resolute Reformer @14/1 in the 4 50 Carlisle -running as last years winning stable's representative, the underrated Stuart Coltherd, surely been primed for this, with a run at hexham over further, this trip and track promise to suit, add the capable jock and all looks in place for a bold show.B-)

A typically underwhelming tuesday so going to do an across the code accumalator to keep things interesting; pays 5/1 Exeter 5.10 saddlers gold win Southwell 5.00 reve de nuit win Derby to beat blackpool -1 Juventus to beat monaco
I'd be putting in Bournemouth at 1-2 to win at Reading in any accumulators today given Reading are in mid table obscurity and have the little matter of an FA Cup semi final at Wembley in 5 days to focus on.
I meant only 4 days until their Semi Final! Reading put out a weak team before the quarter final losing 4-1 so I'll have a go at 3-0 to Bournemouth (9-1), 4-1 to Bournemouth (20-1) and 5-1 (50-1).
