That;s why Sterling will never be a 20 goal a season man... I know everyone can miss ones like that now and then, but he just can't hit a football properly. 90% of his shots are scuffed

He's 20 <doh>

I mock him for what he wants to be paid for what he is currently delivering, but surely he can get better like

So? He doesn't have the ability to strike a football properly.. you don't learn that and if you do, you should have learnt that after being a pro for 3 years and coming through pro academies for last 6 or 7.

Compare how Ibe and Sterling strike a football, the difference is there to see.

He simply doesn't understand the game mate, same as Probert and that ****ing hideous melt Kevin Friend

Not a big fan of Anthony Taylor either to be honest. Just like you say, doesn't read the game properly. Gives throw ins and corners the wrong way despite it being obvious etc.

Sterling was very VERY raw when Kenny was here, he's improved since, but much was down to the trio he played in last season, this season is a steeper learning curve than last season for him and the first time he's had a hefty chunk of responsibility on his shoulders given our striking woes.

He's not a striker, and has only really been deployed as a goal getter this season for the first time.

Plenty of time to improve his finishing.

How about the Coutinho example? Never looked like he could strike a football now he's one of our better players from outside the box.

David Simpson: You can Anfield groan every time Johnson or Lovren have the ball.
