VIDEO: Daredevil leaps from plane, smashes through flag atop Chilean volcano Saturday, April 11, 2015, 5:33 PM - Of all of the daring stunts that have been performed over the years, the latest out of Chile proves that precision is key. Video was released earlier this week showing renowned daredevil and base jumper Sebastien Alvarez leap from a helicopter and punch through a flag at incredible speeds on top of a Chilean mountain. Really. Wearing a wingsuit and GoPro camera, Alvarez leapt from the sky with one target in his sights. Two people were recruited to stand at the top of the extinct volcano in Santiago, holding up a wooden board bearing the nation's flag. Alvarez claims the purpose of the stunt was to test his precision and ability to hit the target while travelling at mind-blowing speeds. As the video above shows -- mission accomplished. Despite battling unpredictable winds that day,the stunt went off without a hitch. http://www.theweathernetwork.com/ne...shes-through-flag-atop-chilean-volcano/49099/
I really needed something to distract me after our match - so sorry you were not able to witness a better result today, but you must be proud of our performance and dogged determination. Too bad Courtois is a top keeper, so those great efforts of Charlie & Matty failed to find the back of the net. To be put to the sword at the death was horrible for us, we deserved at least a point today. Too bad our Chilean, Vargas, was not flying through defences like the guy in the video.
I was only joking Kilburn. Poor old Terry took a lot of stick from our fans today including them calling him a word that rhymed with stunt. Amazing stunt??? Just my sense of humour.
I hope we can move on from this disappointment - every match from here must be treated like a winner take all final - I would take a last day scenario requiring us to beat Leicester to stay up, a match akin to beating Derby at Wembley to go up. Who knows, we may pick up some points in matches where we least expect them?
